Key Features
1. Teflon Diaphragm Vacuum Mechanism
The OPX-212 generates vacuum using a Teflon diaphragm mechanism. The diaphragm creates the required pressure differential without requiring oil lubrication.
This makes the pump particularly suitable for applications where a clean vacuum environment is important.
2. Completely Oil-Free Operation
The pump operates without vacuum pump oil, providing a clean pumping process and eliminating the possibility of oil vapors entering the vacuum system.
3. Contamination-Free Vacuum
The oil-free construction helps prevent contamination caused by oil vapors, making the OPX-212 suitable for sensitive laboratory and process applications.
4. Beltless Design
The pump uses a beltless drive configuration, eliminating belt maintenance and reducing the number of external moving drive components.
5. Continuous Operation
The OPX-212 is designed for continuous operation, making it suitable for applications where vacuum needs to be maintained for extended periods.
6. Low-Maintenance Operation
Because there is no vacuum oil or belt drive to maintain, routine maintenance requirements can be reduced compared with conventional oil-sealed belt-driven vacuum pumps.
7. Compact Construction
The compact pump design allows convenient installation in laboratory workstations, vacuum systems, filtration setups, and other equipment.
8. Reliable Electrical Operation
The pump is designed for operation on a 220/230 V AC power supply, making it suitable for standard laboratory and industrial electrical systems.
Working Principle
The Vacuum Pump Oil Free OPX-212 operates using a flexible Teflon diaphragm.
During operation, the diaphragm moves back and forth inside the pump chamber. This movement changes the chamber volume and creates alternating suction and compression cycles. Air and gases are drawn into the vacuum system and discharged through the pump outlet.
Because the pumping mechanism does not require oil lubrication, the resulting vacuum system remains free from oil vapors generated by conventional oil-sealed vacuum pumps.
Advantages of Oil-Free Diaphragm Technology
Clean Vacuum
No vacuum oil is used, making the pump suitable for applications where oil contamination must be avoided.
Reduced Maintenance
The absence of oil eliminates routine oil changes and oil-level monitoring.
Continuous Operation
The pump is designed for applications requiring extended or continuous vacuum operation.
Environmentally Cleaner Operation
The oil-free pumping mechanism avoids the handling and disposal of vacuum pump oil.
Suitable for Sensitive Applications
The clean pumping principle is useful for laboratory processes involving samples or materials that may be affected by oil contamination.
